And so today I want to build upon the truth of definitive sanctification by trying to clarify for you, 1st of all – The important distinction between sin and sins. 2nd – The important distinction between being perfect and being mature. And 3rd – The important distinction between purifying ourselves day by day and God's permanently purifying us. I am hoping that by clarifying these distinctions that the errors which some Christians hold to, in regard to purity of heart, will cease to be propagated, and that Christian unity and true love for others who do not yet understand these truths will bring us to the place see ourselves correctly and understand better the work that Christ is doing in our hearts, and that He is the touchstone of all true purity of heart.
