When we die, we know that we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. This is where we will go, to our eternal house, where Christ has prepared a place for us. Heaven is a house not made with hands. It is an eternal dwelling place. It is eternal in the heavens. Presently we groan in this body, because we desire to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven. When we die we will lose our body. The intermediate state will be a time of anticipation of our bodily resurrection from the dead. And in that sense we will feel naked for a time, without our body. But we will not groan or be sad during that time. Even though we are a naked spirit, still we will be clothed spiritually.
