And friends that is good news this morning because this means that God's love for you does not change based on your performance. It does not change with your rollercoaster faith or up and down obedience. In fact, there is absolutely nothing you could do as a believer that could ever cause God love you any less than He ever has. Ephesians 1 says 'in love God choose you and predestined you before the foundation of the world to be adopted into His family through Jesus Christ,' so if you are a Christian here this morning, when you stand before God, He will not be your judge; He will be your Father and He will welcome you into His eternal presence with open arms. That is what it means that perfect love casts out fear."
