There is One "Devine Essence" of the God Head.Yet there are Three, Eternal, Unique, "Person's" of the Trinity. The term person is used to designate the attributes of each of the members of the Trinity. Each "Person" having attributes which are definable in the human rhelm, for example: We have been looking at A.W. Pinks work "The Attributes of God," in which each of the defined attributes perfectly apply to each person of the Trinity: Love, Longsuffering, Solitariness, Omnipresence, Omnipotence, Kindness, Grace, Mercy, Will, Patience, etc. Trinitarianism is the theological belief in Christianity that God is a Trinity. The Trinity is the teaching that there is only one God in all existence and that God exists in three distinct, simultaneous, co-eternal, co-powerful persons known as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. When Jesus made His presence known to the public and began His public ministry, He did so as The Son of God, and this is important. This is a matter of salvation, and we need to understand the Distinctiveness of the Attributes and persons of God, as He has seen fit to reveal Himself to us. The distinctiveness of the "person" of God the Father is found in His particular Attributes as displayed in His Decretive and Sovereign Will.He does everything in His own Sovereign good pleasure and for his own Glory, influenced by nothing of His own creation. The distinctiveness of the "Person" of God the Son is found in His particular attributes as displayed in His Equality, Unity, and Obedience to the Decree of God the Father. This is seen in His incarnation,as the Public display of the the Divine GodHead. Also in His Discharge as Divine Role as Mediator.
