Tony, Brad, and Donnie spent a few hours at the Davenport Bus Station. Together they distributed 40 bibles and more than 100 gospel tracts. Along the way, they also engaged several people in conversation. One of those people was a Jehovah's Witness by the name of Anita. Brad initiated a conversation with Anita, taking her through the law and the gospel. Afterward, Brad called Tony over to address Jehovah's Witness theology. The Watchtower Society teaches that for a Jehovah’s Witness to be made right with God he or she must, in part, keep the law (obey the Ten Commandments). Tony begins his conversation with Anita by pointing out that her inability to perfectly obey the laws of God leaves her without hope. He also explains to her that repentance will not save her and that her faith is only as reliable as the object of her faith. In addition to hearing the gospel from Brad, Anita also accepted the gift of a gospel tract.
