This word to the remnant in Isaiah's day was what was needed as they dwelt in the midst of false worship.

1. Present circumstances of God's people.
- despised
- small number
- described as worm.

2.Power of God.
- Gods promise was to transform what was a worm, to being a weapon & instrument in His hand.

3.Purpose of God.
- cause Gods people to rejoice
- glorify God.
- recognition that God hath done it, vs20.

May God have room to work in us, causing us this year to be that new sharp threshing instrument having teeth!
