He doesn't hide truth in secret behind closed doors. No. He has revealed Himself in creation, He has revealed Himself in Christ, and He has revealed Himself in Scripture. He doesn't reveal to us everything, but He reveals everything we need to know. And one of the most important things we need to know, actually, the most important thing we need to know is whether or not we are saved, meaning we need to have assurance of our salvation. And believe it or not, this is something many believers struggle with for one reason or another, but God wants His children to know for sure that they are saved and for them to experience the blessings of that assurance."
