INTRO: We have entered in our series what I have called the fourth phase of this great journey of the Church age believer. After our last message, dealing with the short season described in Revelation 20:7-15, some very important finishing touches to God's eternal plan have taken place. The devil is finished! He has been judged and cast into hell and he will never trouble another soul for all eternity. Sin is finished. No person will ever sin again. No angel will ever sin again. Sin is finished. And last, but not least, death is finished. No one will ever die again. Trials and sorrows, partings and problems are forever finished. Now there lies before mankind a new earth. All sin's traces have been burned from it; and there, before us, lies an entirely renewed earth! The heavens are pure and clean. The new earth is without spot. And after they are in place, in Revelation 21:6 it says, “It is done! I am Alpha and omega, the Beginning and the End.â€
And so, in our following this great journey we have come to this wonderful time when before us lies a new expance or heaven and a new earth. It is fully renewed, but there are as yet no people on this new earth. And so we turn to Revelation 21 (read 1-3 and 9-11). You see, the church once came down with Christ, following Him on white horses. We found that teaching in Revelation 19:11-14. But we concluded in an earlier message that the Church returns to heaven once more. But we saw that she will return to earth after the creation of the new heaven and the new earth. And so now we want to look at the means of this ride.
