If you're going to live your life as a believer in a manner that is pleasing to God, if you're going to deal with the problems and sins that beset us as Christians, you're going to have to come to grips with the truth in Romans chapter 6. This is the foundation for living a life that is pleasing to God. You don't understand God's plans and purposes, unless you come to grips with the issue of man's sin and the condemnation that it brings to every single man, women, and child who's born into the human race. Now if we're going to have a message from God and it's going to be of any help, it has to provide a solution to man's dilemma. An accurate evaluation is helpful, but it's not a remedy. You can get a diagnosis at a doctor, and he can tell you what is wrong with you. He can say this is your illness, and you appreciate that. But if that's all he can do, it's not been much help. We need a remedy. Romans 3:21 through 5:21 talks about God's solution to man's dilemma.
