As the clay sits on the shelf it looses it's ability to be molded. There are so many of us that are so independent that we don't want to be worked on the potter's wheel. Everyone of us have flaws just like that clay and we must be worked. To be worked, blended, fully mixed, is to work out the flaws. All manner of decoration and paint will only cover up the vessel but it will not fill the cracks. Can we hold the water of the Holy Spirit or is our vessel cracked?
