Jesus calls people to do things that they don't have the resources to do in order to cause us to look to Christ. This is exactly what the Lord called the disciples to do in the the feeding of the five thousand. Rather than looking at what we have, we are called to look to the Lord and in faith do what He is commanding us to do. Can we not trust God to provide enough to feed five thousand? or four thousand?
