The next prophetic event in God's timetable is the rapture when Jesus returns for His 'bride'--genuine believers in Christ. But what is next? What happens after the rapture occurs? The first thing that will happen is that our physical bodies will be changed. The corruptible will put on incorruption and this mortal body will put on immortality. Our new bodies will be fashioned after Christ's glorified body. We will then stand before the judgment seat of Christ where we will be spiritually prepared. The judgment seat will be a time and place for commendation as we will be rewarded for faithful, fruitful service. It will also be a time for clarification when there will be a full disclosure of the facts, plus the place of conciliation when broken relationships will be repaired. For jesus Christ wants to present to Himself a glorious church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but a church that is holy and blameless before Him. The judgment seat of Christ will not be a time nor place for condemnation and celebration for Jesus Christ took care of our sins at the cross! He paid in full for our redemption! His shed blood continues to cleanse us from all sin! No condemnation!
