As believers we do not need to fear termination of our relationship with Him, for there is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. But we will one day need to give an account of the things done while living, whether good or bad. The judgment seat of Christ will be a place for clarification where there will be a full disclosure of the facts. Everything will be put on the table, except for confessed sins which God forgets. But the truth will come out, the air will be cleared. The judgment seat of Christ is also the place for commendation, where rewards will be given for faithful, fruitful service. It is paramount that we prepare NOW for our day of reckoning if we are to receive a good review from Jesus Christ, the One we love and serve.
