As a Christian, do you have a purpose in life? If so what is it?
The Apostle Paul's sole aim in life, after he became a believer, was to glorify God. Is that your aim? "To live", he said "is Christ". He determined by his manner of life to be conformed to Christ. He sought, in all things, to please God. Totally committed to the Lord's cause, he was prepared to suffer loss 'for Christ's sake'. Can these things be said of you?
We talk about things 'being fit for purpose', do you ask yourself whether the things you do make you a better Christian?
May you, may we, on the Day of Judgement have this testimony, 'that we sought to live for the glory of God'. Let us make that our aim.
