Twenty-nine prophecies fulfilled in one day! And they weren't the kind that Jesus had any control over. If He were not the Messiah, how could He have manipulated all those around Him, including the sky and sun and moon, to do what needed to be done.
There is, of course, only one answer.

Well, he was close. In this case, when you have excluded the possible, whatever remains, however impossible, must be the truth.
God is the One who works all things according to His plan. He is the One who calls what is not into being. He is the One who told long ago of events still to come. He is the One who, alone, is able to accomplish all He plans. (See Isaiah 42-47)
He worked His plan during the coming, perfect life, sacrificial death and resurrection of His Annointed One. He is working His plan for the second coming of His Annointed One as well.
We are in it. Right in the middle of it.
We can fully trust in the One, who alone, is able to accomplish His plan to transform those who have been called according to His purposes into the image of His Son, making Him the firstborn among many brethren. (See Romans 8:28-29) |
