What is discipleship? It is more than just advancing the Gospel. Discipleship helps believers progress and be encouraged in their faith. It is the process of helping a believer in Christ to become a follower and teacher of Christ. It makes them bolder and gives them greater understanding. However, it is more than just Bible knowledge. It is learning more about God and His character and nature, but also learning to practically apply the Bible to our lives. As we continue our study in Philippians we will look at Paul's passion for discipleship and how we can walk as a discipler, just as he did.
