God's ways are so different from ours. The very circumstances we want to avoid, and even pray to be rescued from, so often are the front lines from which God advances His kingdom. Such was the case with Paul's imprisonment in Rome. Incredibly, he wrote from prison to his friends in Philippi to encourage them that his chains actually enabled him to preach Christ to the Roman military and even the royal household. Praise God that our "unwanted circumstances" can be the very means God uses to further the gospel! But here's the challenge: are we open to being used in such a way?
