Our Lord came to His own and His own did not receive Him. There was no room for Him in the inn, there was no room for Him in Herod's kingdom, there was no room for Him in Israel, there was no room for Him in the world . . . except for the room provided by a pardoned murderer's cross on a hill called Golgotha. Our world continues to reject the Lord of All. It is our responsibility to make room for Jesus . . . to devote our lives to Him and to present Him to a world which continues to reject Him and attempt to ignore His presence and sovereignty.
