The gathering of stones for a monument, the taking of those stones home, and the placing of those stones in Gilgal serves as a glorious steadfast and truly material memorial of God's grace and promises kept to his people, the saints of god should erect monuments to the Lord as an act of recognizing his never failing mercy and perpetual long suffering to bring us into a good land, just as he has promised. May we raise to God this day memorials in response to his covenant faithfulness to us.
