Think back about Nicodemus. We want to draw a contrast between Nicodemus and the Woman at the well. Think back for a moment. Jesus with great condescension has bridged the chasm between the two groups, that is the Samaritans and the Jews by breaking into this woman's life, and drawing her to Himself. She was in need of living water, and He showed her that worldly pleasures would not satisfy. But the water that Jesus gives will cause the person who drinks of it, to be satisfied. Both Nicodemus and this woman needed to be found by God in relation to Christ.
