Join me as we explore a couple parallels found in Mark, Matthew and Luke's gospel. We'll look at from Luke's perspective.
We Were Sent To Find Life, Light and Love the way Jesus explains it.
They that were sent — went — and because they went — where they were sent — they found it as He meant. Luke 19:32
They that went, having been sent, found it just as Jesus meant.
Life•marriage•ministry•mission work• everything and all things God•will be found, as He said it would be when go looking for what we were sent to find.
What are the keys to this principle: We must know we've been sent, who sent us, where we're to go, and what we're looking for when you get there. Therefore, we MUST know and go, if we plan to find it as He said.
They went that were sent... [they] are the ones who find it exactly as He meant.
"So those who were SENT... WENT on their way to where they were sent and they found it just as Jesus MEANT it to be." (Luke 19:32).
We must be brutally honest with ourselves. Are we (you and I) finding it just as Jesus said... not what you heard others say, He said, but what you know and heard for yourself what His word says?
The disciples that WENT, went because they were SENT, and they that went, because they were sent, found [it] exactly as He MEANT.
Now, had they devalued what He said and then deviated, in any way, from what and where He sent them to do, by going to another street or a different town or simply wait for another day, THEY would've never found it CONSISTENT with what He MEANT.
If life isn't CONSISTENT with how Jesus describes it... either we haven't ever heard from Him and haven't been SENT, or we've adjusted the
