A Christian leader known for advocating drinking alcohol is arrested for drunk driving. Some Christians are calling into question any and all use of alcohol, but what is the biblical view on this? We point out a National Health Institute study on Christians and obesity. Some denominations are 3-10X more likely to be obese, and they happen to be the denominations more down on drinking alcohol. What are the more fundamental issues that address all of these hypocrisies and sins? What's the problem with our thinking on these things that lead to excess? What are the more important issues we are missing here?
