“ It's Very Long, But It's Extremely Useful ” I listened to this lecture about 3 years ago and then re-listened to it the other day whilst I was cleaning the windows in the flat where my wife and I live. I was struck by how much I had taken in the first time I had listened. Before re-listening, I couldn't have told you where the things I remembered came from, but it was from this lecture. Things such as reading the Bible so much that all of your illustrations should come from it; things like going out and exercising instead of getting fat and lazy; things like being careful what you watch, etc. It is one of the best Paul Washer talks and I've heard him speak on many things now. Very, very useful indeed and very exciting to listen to.

“ For Such a Time As This! ” I was soooo blessed by this teaching, it is timely in this hour of the church. I was reminded of the blessedness of "sound doctrine". The church is in need of balance and this teaching awakens that need.

“ Catering and pie slices ” What used to be common values are now being taught to seminary students? Things have sure changed. Most of what this sermon teaches would have been part of upbringing. So it's both a good message, but sad that it needs to be said. Anyhow, it's worth listening to this just for the story about Washer's wife in college working catering a pastor's conference and what she did with the largest slices of pie. Absolutely hilarious.
