In chapter 2 Paul is zeroing in on the roles of men and women. The world lives in rebellion against our God and rejects his purposes and plans as the creator, because they reject him. But God requires that we as His people be living out his will in the world. The scripture is absolutely clear that God has a different purpose and design for a man and a woman. Paul wrote to the Romans and said do not be conformed to the world but be transformed.
