When we stick to Jesus, Jesus sticks to us. And when Jesus sticks to us, people see Jesus in us. Because when you see Jesus in us, you can't help but see the grace of God at work. And we need people to see Jesus in us. But that doesn't happen unless we stick to Him, cleave to Him, glued to Him — being inseparable from Him.
When we remain steadfast in our loyalty to Jesus, His manifest presence remains steadfast upon our work and witness. And when Jesus is present in us, people are drawn to Him. Because when you see Jesus in us, you can't help but witness the grace of God at work. We need people to see Jesus in us, but that can only happen if we remain committed to Him, clinging to Him, and being inseparable from Him.
Let's not get stuck in WHAT we know — rest in Him, WHO we know, and where He's leading us in life.
What we know is important but not nearly as important as who we know. Be confident and courageous with what you know but never let that confidence and courage keep you from seeking, trusting, surrendering, and honoring Jesus, who you know, in all that you know.
Some love WHAT they know more than WHO they know. The evidence of this will manifest in how they handle the information they have, how they deal with problems, how they treat people, and how they feed their own pride.
Glory be when a servant of God COMMITS their ways to Jesus, Jesus is COMMITTED to establish and expand their thoughts and trust, as He transforms them and the way they think, that He can turn their plans and ways toward His purpose.
