We have seen that there is a time and a purpose for everything under heaven. The reason that there is a time and a purpose is because our God is a God who orders all time, and He orders all our days. He is a God of order and He would have us to do things in the way that He defines for us; in the way that we go about to live and do all the things that we do. He has a purpose. He ordains all the time that He gives to us, and He has expectations of when we should do certain things, and when we should abstain from them. We have seen this in the first 8 verses of this chapter. He has made all men responsible creatures. He has given you commandments in the Bible which show you what His will and purpose are. And then He interacts with you in accordance with His providential will every day of your life, so that He might bring His purposes about for you. His purpose for all those who will trust in Him is that He will make all things beautiful in their time. There are 3 Lessons here in these verses, which God would teach each one of us concerning how He makes everything beautiful in our life, in its time. 1st of all – He would teach you the beauty of your God-given task. 2nd – He would teach you the beauty of His work in our soul. And finally, He would teach you the beauty of rejoicing in His everyday provision and in doing good with it.
