Alton Brown, Sr. died November 25, 2018 at the age of 91. Born in Savannah, GA, Alton was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown. Alton retired from Savannah Electric and Power Company/Georgia Power/Southern Company as Plant Supervisor after 45 years. Alton was an Elder Emeritus at the Independent Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Marion Bandy Brown, daughters Sharon Brown and Lisa Morris (Scott) and son Alton Brown, Jr. (Natalie). Six grandchildren Emily Meneghini (Josiah), Amy Wiersema (Noah) and Anderson Morris; Mary Price, Mabel and Agnes Brown and 2 great grandchildren, Selah Grace and Iona Joy Meneghini. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Elizabeth Bandy Brown.
