We looked at the last chapter of Ezra. We saw here the entangling and permeating nature of sin. It had a multigenerational effect. We saw the progression of this revival from the concern of one man, through to the gathering of the few that trembled at the Word of God and then to the large congregation that wept sore. We saw how this congregation was made up of men, women and children. Children should not be prevented from sitting under the preaching of God's Word. Children are sinners that need a Saviour. They need the Gospel preached to them as well.
