-Nehemiah was honest and upright -He was trusted by the king -He was interested in Jerusalem -Where the need is greatest -The place where GOD had put His name
Nehemiah was
1 Sensitive -to GOD -to GOD's honor -to GOD's people
-sensitivity is the evidence of spirituality
2 Realistic -GOD is necessary -Need of GOD -Prayer -Recognized the danger -recognized the difficulties
3 Radical -Believes in a radical GOD -With GOD all things are possible -God will abundantly supply his needs
He recognized his limitations -Realized that GOD was with and in his people
He fights the fight against -mockery -physical suffering -mixing in of godless religion among GOD's people
There were many attempts to stop Nehemiah but they all failed
