God Had Said, Only Three Days & That's It Ex. 5:1-3 When it comes to compromising, there are some areas in which compromise can never be an option. You give the devil an inch and he will take a mile. You let him in your door, and he will take over the house. In this section of Exodus, we address the difficulties that may arise from obeying God. God is looking for people who will serve him whether they have straw or stubble. Whether we are enjoying the straw of provision and abundance or the stubble of hardship and suffering, God is looking for men and women who will not quit serving and obeying Him. Compromise is not an option. However, the devil is always trying to get us to make compromises. As we look at the story of Moses standing before Pharaoh and delivering God's message, "Let my people go," we see illustrated in Pharaoh's proposals how the devil tries to get us to make compromises in our life. Let's look at the story and learn more of the compromises the devil seeks in the life of every Christian. 1. THE SPACE THAT IS NEEDED v.1 2. THE STRUGGLE THAT IS NORMAL v.2 3. THE STUBBORNNESS THAT IS NECESSARY v.3 Have you let the devil trick you into accepting one of his proposals? Are you still in the land? Have you gone out but not very far? Have you left the little ones behind? Have you left behind the flocks and herds? Let today be the day when you say, "Get thee behind me, Satan." Let the day be the day when you say, "I'm going three days, and not one hoof will be left behind."
