There is a servant that is bought which has a 6 year commitment to his master, and there is the servant which sells himself, which can be a very long term commitment of 49 years, until Jubilee. But in each there are stipulations which the Lord imposes because of His care for each. These are in his care of each. After all, these are brethren who have been reduced to the place of slavery. This message ends on a high note as we consider the care of the Lord for His own who were bankrupt in sin and shown such great love through Jesus Christ.
