Welcome, on this Sunday Morning Preaching and Teaching Time with Pastor Nick Holden, we bring you the message he shared while serving the faith family at Eldridge Baptist (07.23.2023).
You and I are not made for this world: Jesus said foxes have their holes and the birds have their nest but the son of man has no place in this world. What Jesus was teaching is that He doesn't fit in this world.
He had a place, He had a prize, He had a purpose, and He had a priority. These are all transferred and applied to us when we become His.
In this message, we find in the Word several questions that God asked that can help us. Questions to check where we are. They can be used like a Check-off list. For example, in all highly sensitive, dangerous, and costly work, they use standard operating procedures (SOP) protocols and steps to ensure safety, proficiency, and efficiency. And there's no higher calling and more costly and extreme work — than God's work.
