Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ: God called Abraham to walk obediently before his face. In order to walk obediently before God's face, Abram had to have faith in Jesus, for no one can walk obediently without having faith in Jesus. So God gave faith to Abram. God also knew because of doubts and other weaknesses that would creep into Abram's life, he had to strengthen Abram's faith to walk obediently. So God promised him many, many children, godly children, and even great children!
There was one more way God would encourage Abram's faith: God would give him a blessed covenant sign – a sign for him and his children…a memorable sign…a permanent sign. Hear of this sign today.
