Jesus Christ is not one Saviour among many. He is the only one. I want us to see how desirable Jesus is. God the Father broke the silence of centuries to announce, ‘This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.’ What makes him loved by the Father? Is it possible that we could, in the Beloved, hear the same accolade Christ received—‘I am well pleased’? In the end, there is only one Saviour God will accept—his Beloved Son. We need Christ alone to also be accepted—in him.
