In this message I want to speak to you about how God speaks to all men, not only in His giving of weather, but also to all men spiritually in His giving of Christ. And so, let me give you 3 thoughts of God's marvelous way of working in the weather, which will also show us the great things He has done and is doing, through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1st of all – God commanded the lightning and thundered marvelously with His voice in the Giving of His Son. In this He was doing great things that neither Job, nor we can fully comprehend, but we can learn from them. (verses 1-9) 2nd – God by His breath gave the Scriptures by which He commands men on the face of the whole earth. He does this so that they will be turned by His guidance. (verses 10-12) And 3rd – God would come to Job in the storm for correction and for mercy. In this same way He has had mercy upon us who are trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ, who bore the storm of God's wrath for us on the cross. (verse 13)
