But a problem arises soon after. By all appearances these warriors have plans to forsake the LORD God of Israel and offer their sacrifices upon another altar besides that which is at Shiloh. So Israel sends an ambassador with one representative of each of the ten tribes in Canaan to warn them to turn back to God or be destroyed in war.
