Pastor Chronister says, today is a special day because... we're on the down hill slope of our Genesis series. ...Or are we?
Pastor gives us an idea of where he might go next. Philippians 2:12, Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Never have an interpretation that is clearly in opposition to the rest of scripture. People that come to your door will show you how they twist this one.
But on with the lecture. We return to Genesis 14 and 15. Pastor says that Genesis 14 and 19 is a Melchizedek sandwich. So really, it's a Christ sandwich, because Melchizedek is of course, Christ in the flesh. There are some very interesting things in between, to be sure. So, this should be a fantastic sermon. But Genesis 15 is probably the most important passage in all of scripture. And that's where we go now.
If you don't understand Galatians it's because you don't understand Genesis 15; actually 14 through 19. Basically, this lecture is setting us up to better understand this amazing Genesis 15 passage.
