Commandments 6,7,8 of progressive Christianity says Christianity is more about the "journey" than right belief, that meeting needs is more important than upholding the institution of the church, and that peacemaking is more important than power. Again the root problem is their denial of the authority of Scripture which tells us how the Christian should live, that the church is the means by which we are united to Christ, and that peace will not come unless one submits themselves to the authority of Christ and His church.
