(volume does pick up at about 2:30). Faith persuades us of things we can't see. We have never seen Christ but we are persuaded by God's word that He does exist. And that by God's word we are persuaded that through Christ we have salvation. Therefore our faith is based on the word of God. Our faith needs to be engraved in our hearts verses being a hope-so thought. We can know which way to go but it is still up to us to follow through. By faith we are to trust in God's word. Problem is there is too much double mindedness going on. Wavering back and forth, no stability. This is not demonstrated faith in God; just following the example of the world. Faith is not a feeling we manufacture it is believing in God's word as sure and steady. But faith is something that we must put to work. Faith, when put to work, builds testimonies that can last. God may have us do something that causes us to question. But He wants us to move at His command for a reason. faith will follow orders and make the right progress, if we obey or demonstrate our faith.
