Last Sunday we left Jesus teaching in the temple. He had arrived in Jerusalem about the time the Feast of Booths, or Tabernacles, began, or perhaps a little while afterwards, not wanting to attract public attention.
But now, about in the middle of the feast, Jesus enters the temple and begins to teach, and He is being questioned by the religious authorities, not because of His teaching, but because of His lack of education under the authority of respected Rabbis.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace toward us. You have awakened us from pursuing the sins of the world and drawn us to salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We thank you for Your Holiness and power, and for all the things You provide for us, and we thank You for this assembly!
Strengthen us, and deepen our faith as we purpose to do Your will in this world. May You continually be glorified as we praise You and thank You in Jesus' name. Amen!
