After parenthetically answering questions about sanctification, Paul returns in chapter 8 where he left off in chapter 5--the great blessings and guarantee of justification. Here, in chapter 8, Paul lists at least six reasons why justification guarantees glorification of the believer. The sinner who has been justified by and in Christ has freedom from Sin, indwelling of the Spirit, adoption as a Son, glorification after Suffering, intercession of the Spirit, and the unchangeable Sovereign purpose and love of God. Meditating on these truths of Justification and Glorification is a powerful motivation for one's Sanctification.
Paul uses four questions in all to discuss the relationship of sin and grace in Romans 6 and then sin and the law in Romans 7. In summary, we find motivation and obligation to grow in sanctification because those who are justified in Christ have a New Identity in Christ, a New Master of Christ, a New Relationship with the Law, and a New Struggle with the Law.
