We are now moving into the last six months of Jesus' ministry. In this section we learn of Him going up to Jerusalem, after He told His brothers He was not going to go, to celebrate the most important feast on the Jewish calendar, the Feast of Sukkot. There He speaks to the assembled masses who are amazed at His teaching. We also learn that Jesus alone is in control of His life. Even though the Jewish leadership would like for Him to be put to death and silenced, God alone makes that decision. No one else harbors that right.
