God has revealed that the last judgment will come following the 1000 year kingdom over which Jesus Christ has ruled. Those people who become believers during and then survive the seven year tribulation will enter the first phase of eternity in their physical body. In so doing they will populate the earth giving birth to children with a sin nature. When the devil who has been bound is released at the end of the first millennium launches his final rebellion, there will be those who are not followers of Jesus Christ openly and overtly join his rebellion. After his almost instantaneous defeat of the devil and his forces, Jesus Christ will carry out the final judgment on the mass of unbelievers who have lived since the creation of the earth. This judgment will be on the basis of their works which have served to demonstrate their spiritual condition. There will be no arbitration, no second chances, no negotiations, no final appeals, only sentencing to eternal hell by the very One who provided the one way of rescue that was refused.
