This is the last message in Pastor Steve's '1 Peter Series'. In this message we look at the last 5 verses of 1 Peter.
Three interesting issues are dealt with first: 1. The explanation of 'from Babylon' 2. The identity of Mark, and possible connections between Peter and Paul. 3. The question is addressed regarding whether Silvanus (Silas) might have had a role in helping to compose this letter. If proven true, it would explain some of the stylistic differences between 1 Peter and 2 Peter.
The issue of 'Inspiration' is also addressed.
The message closes with an explanation of the four future tense verbs of verse 10 1. Perfect - katarizo 2. Confirm - sterizo 3. Strengthen - sthenoo 4. Settle - themelioo
