INTRO: In January of 2005 I gave this message trusting that there would be some of the folk within the conference who would sense the call of God and take some Bible school in preparation for ministry. That message did produce some fruit but you know the rest of the story. I have had hope that some day the Lord would call someone from our own people who would not ultimately reject what we believe and would become a good theologian. We could use a theologian as a pastor. Listen to 1 Timothy 5:17, “Let the elders (pastors) who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.â€
