If you were to believe the hype swirling around today, you would be convinced that there was a mighty, genuine revival blazing its way through the Roman Catholic Church.
Roman Catholics, within the Romish system, are, in their hundreds and thousands, finding the way to Christ.
• ‘Evangelical Catholics' point to one of their key documents in which they quote the words of Pope John Paul II, 'God is preparing a great springtime for Christianity,' as explanation for what is allegedly occurring.
• Other pastors, like Rick Warren, fondly speak about 'the evangelical wing of Catholicism.' (Conference in Key West, Florida, Monday, May 23, 2005).
• I have a book - ‘Adventures in Reconciliation - Twenty-Nine Catholic Testimonies' which is meant to detail the testimonies of people who have found Christ within the Catholic Church.
The problem is ... in these testimonies there is evidence of a strong reliance on many things that are clearly anti-Biblical – the Mass, the commands of the Pope, the traditions of the Roman Church. Reading through these accounts of ‘conversions,' I do not feel on John 3 ground at all!
Everything else I see leads me to respond to the question, 'Are We Witnessing A Second Reformation?', with a sad 'no'!

They have tried that with me just like the "peaceful" muslim mantra we all hear.
It is (as you say) wonderful to hear of those whom the Lord truly converts and brings out of the idolatry of Roman Catholicism.

He did a tape called "10 things Catholics do not know."
So thankful for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit.
