The Lord says, "I choose the proper time. I choose the time. And when I do I will judge uprightly. He chooses the time for everything. We often see stuff going on and we're thinking, "Why Lord, why don't you do something?"And that's where we go back to this understanding that He chooses the when, how, what and why. Yet, we keep asking those questions, why, why, why? But oftentimes when we do that, we don't always get an answer for why. But if we ask, "How can I glorify you in this time?" I do believe He'll give us a word to walk in. Yes, He'll give us a word.
Something to consider:
Who's Cup You Drinking?
Your own or the cup Jesus drank from?
I encourage you, don't miss this:
Now remember, Jesus had a cup, and He willingly drank that cup on our behalf and all that came in it. In His cup was the judgment of all the sins that he would pay with His own lifeblood upon the cross of Calvary. Why? Because everybody is gonna drink from a cup. Either Jesus drank from the cup for you, or you gonna have to drink from a cup of God's judgment. And you don't want to drink from the cup of wrath that hadn't been drank and covered by Jesus.
During this particular study, with a few men from the Chapel, we explored a couple of thoughts found within Psalm 75. Come join one of our Sunday morning classes.
This was a primer… I'll share more on this thinking and how we tie it to Jesus while praying in Gethsemane in a post over the next several days. Sunday evening I shared a message that will carry these thoughts over into the Newer Testament and our current times. Be on the lookout for it.
