In our passage we have an example of the Lord's mercy, when He cleansed the ten lepers. Ten had cried out, but only one returned to give Him thanks. This resulted in Christ's searching question; 'But where are the nine?'
As sinners, we too are in need of mercy. To cry out to the Lord Jesus, asking that He might cleanse us from our sin is surely the best thing that we can do. Let us make our appeal to Him, as He is the only one who can help us.
The giving of our thanks is surely an appropriate response for present, as well as past mercies. Let us give glory to God for all that He has done for us.
