Let me just say that eating milk is good babies but problematic for those who should be mature. God intends the believer to grow and to grow with a greater and greater appetite to explore the wonderful revelation of Jesus Christ. You must ask yourself. Have I grown in my delight in God's Word. Do I want to look further and further into the glory of Christ's work for me on the cross and the power of the life He offers me in His resurrection? Am I only repeating the first lessons of my faith over and over again and live with a disinterest in what more there is to learn of Christ from the Word? It is great to know as a new born Christian the Jesus was crucified for you and to understand that work but to grow you must also know of the glorified Jesus who lives today for you and would live in you greater and greater expressions of His grace and life. You are supposed to grow up. If you don't it is fair to ask what has gone wrong? What has gone wrong with these wavering Jews? They are no further along with Christ than at the start... they may even be further away from Him... Why?
