No matter how successful we become, we must give all the glory to God. The great important thing is not if we are famous or how much money we have. The most important thing is if we know Christ. Money and fame do not satisfy, only Jesus can satisfy. Every bit of authority that we have comes from God. Are we focused on the greatness of God and how wonderful He is? He is more magnificent than anything we can imagine. When we get a diminished view of God, then we begin to get an inflated view of ourselves. When we realize how great God is, then we realize how great our sin is. Jesus died for us because He loves us, not because we are good. Nebuchadnezzar lost his sanity before people could tell he lost his sanity. If anyone thinks they are in control, that everything they have comes from themselves, they are truly insane. We should thank God all day long for all things; little and big. We need to rejoice about what we have and stop complaining about what we don't have. If we set our sights on worldly greatness, we are setting ourselves up for failure.
